Al Jazeera has been denied permission to operate in Zimbabwe, a source in the Ministry of Information and Publicity told Metro.
Its Harare bureau will be moved to Johannesburg.
The source said the government was not happy with its plans to fire its correspondent Supa Mandiwanzira who is being accused of not being objective.

Matonga who died at the Avenues Clinic after a long struggle with prostate cancer.
His wife Sarah died in 2005.

Metro has learnt that the SADC election observers have been given conditions.
They have been instructed to return to their hotels by 5pm each day during their stay and they have also been told they must start their work after 8am.
